Those green gloves were sterile. We use them where I work.
I had that procedure recently, and it sucked.
there is only one thing I would advise and would be very helpful is a transparent catheter which I myself have.
It really helps when having catheter issues as you can see when there is sediment in the catheter so you can catch things early. I have a suprepubic catheter myself so takes all the worry and anxieties when having one down the penis.
